Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Kuwait: Q1 2025 Insights

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of leading navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Kuwait showcased varying trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate, starting with approximately 3.6K downloads in early January and experiencing a modest decline to 2.4K by early March. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 384K in early January, dropping to around 347K in early March before recovering to 384K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a varied download trend, initially steady at 1.1K in early January, with a notable dip to 683 in mid-March, before closing the quarter at 1K downloads. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 146K, with a slight dip to 131K mid-quarter.

Kuwait Finder saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 938 in early January and peaking at 1.2K in early March. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing from 1.9K to just over 2K by mid-March, before a slight decrease to 1.9K by the end of March.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS exhibited a notable spike in downloads, particularly in late March, reaching 4.7K, up from a steady average of around 500 downloads earlier in the quarter. Revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at $2.4K in late March. Active users also surged, reaching 4.5K in late March.

Google Earth had stable downloads throughout the quarter, with a slight increase from 455 in early January to 742 by the end of March. Active users varied slightly, starting at 1.3K and ending at 1.5K.
